Sarah Jessica Parker misses her buddy — and our coronary heart breaks to see her grapple with grieving publicly and privately.
The Sex and the City star is reeling after co-star and longtime off-screen pal Willie Garson‘s dying. Garson, who was simply 57 years outdated, died on Tuesday after a battle with pancreatic cancer.
And now, as other SATC co-stars pay tribute to the gifted actor and sort man, SJP is admitting that she’s not but able to grieve for her beloved buddy.
On Tuesday night, longtime SATC co-star Chris Noth posted an outdated photograph of Sarah and Willie strolling arm in arm and smiling from ear to ear. He merely captioned it “Willie” with a coronary heart emoji and a damaged coronary heart emoji — encapsulating the heartbreak all people was feeling about his co-star’s premature passing.
In response, SJP popped up within the feedback part writing (under):
“Thank you dearest Chris. I’m not ready yet. Xxx.”
Parker’s mourning isn’t some celeb-style pandering, both — Carrie and Stanford went approach again with one another off display screen, too.
Perezcious readers could recall an interview Garson gave again in July, when a reporter requested him about SATC‘s HBO Max spinoff And Just Like That... In that convo with Us Weekly, he explained how even beyond six seasons of TV and two movies, he and SJP were as close as can be when the cameras weren’t rolling:
“As you probably know, Sarah Jessica and I were friends for 10 years before the show. And we’re still the closest of friends. We talk almost every day.”
Just terrible, for SJP to lose her beloved buddy so shortly after years collectively.
Heartbreakingly, in that very same July convo, Garson recalled one in all his favourite memorable moments from filming the mega-hit TV present when he, SJP, and co-star Cynthia Nixon had been in a position to join off digital camera:
“One of my favorite memories of the show was, I don’t even know what episode it was, but we were in the Hamptons. It might’ve been the wedding episode. [I remember] we we’re hanging out at the house and it was me, Marcus (actor Sean Palmer), the boyfriend at the time, Sarah Jessica, Cynthia, and little Brady. And we were on the lawn laughing and playing with the baby. And it was just great. And I remember that day forever.”
SATC co-star Kristin Davis additionally expressed her love for Garson, revealing that they’d truly met previous to the hit NYC-based present, too. Explaining how Willie was “beloved by our entire community,” the 56-year-old actress shared her reminiscences of the late star:
So many good issues to say about someone who clearly was such individual on set, and extra importantly, behind the scenes.
Our hearts exit to Garson’s son, and the remainder of his household, pals, and family members throughout this horrible time.
